Public-domain catalog
ReadOcean curates editions believed to be in the public domain in the United States. Copyright status varies by country, edition, and translation. You are responsible for following the law where you use or download a work. Source and rights information is shown for each title. ReadOcean is independent and is not affiliated with Project Gutenberg or any publisher.
Your content
You may import text files you have the right to use. You retain all rights in your files. Do not use ReadOcean to infringe copyright or other rights.
Premium subscription
ReadOcean Premium is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. The price shown by Apple at confirmation is the price you pay. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Restoring purchases is available inside the app.
Premium unlocks the complete curated catalog, unlimited offline downloads, premium reading themes, and continuing curated additions. Public-domain source files may also be available without charge from their original providers.
Availability
Catalog items and third-party sources may change or become unavailable. We may remove a title when rights or source status is uncertain. Downloaded copies may remain on your device unless removal is legally required.
Disclaimer and limitation
The app and catalog are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of third-party texts. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
