Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of FoodLabelScan. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable terms, including the Standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Informational purpose
FoodLabelScan helps organize and explain food-label information. It does not provide medical, dietary, allergy, or safety advice and does not determine whether a food is safe for you. Product databases, optical character recognition, translations, and rule matching can be incomplete or wrong. Always check the physical package and consult a qualified professional when health or allergy decisions are involved.
Free use and subscription
The app includes a limited number of successful scans per month and a free sample. FoodLabelScan Premium Monthly provides unlimited scans and access to ongoing ingredient-guide updates while the subscription is active.
- Price: US$1.99 per month in the United States; Apple may display an equivalent local price elsewhere.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Third-party data
Barcode product information is supplied by Open Food Facts under the Open Database License. Public data may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Acceptable use
You may use the app for personal, lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the app or its data services, bypass subscription controls, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
Availability and changes
Features and third-party data availability may change. We may correct errors or update these terms. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without guarantees that every product or ingredient will be recognized.
